Description:Chrysoprase is a Nickel-bearing variety of Chalcedony, and the best pieces in the world come from Australia. This stone is a very attractive, rich blue-green, translucent, "Oval" cut gem with excellent consistency of color. The very best of this material is highly prized by collectors, and this gem is very good quality for Chrysoprase, as they are rarely this gemmy, especially in this size ! Another great aspect of this gem is that it is nearly perfectly calibrated so it can be placed into prefabricated jewelry settings.
