Description:Tourmalines are beloved for the wide range of colors in which they occur. This particular stone is a beautiful and unusual color for Tourmaline as it shows a pale peach hue, which is not common for Tourmaline for any locality. About 15 years ago, I remember seeing some Tourmalines like this from Brazil, but this one is from Afghanistan and is just lovely in person. This "Oval" cut stone is only very slightly included, which is great for a facetted Tourmaline, as the majority of them show visible inclusions, and this one is nearly eye clean. A beautiful color gem from one of the premier Tourmaline producing countries in the world.
