This neon blue Apatite really only comes from two places in the world. The Bahia area of Brazil produces a very intense deep blue color of Apatite, but stones are often very small. The Madagascar material is more abundant and probably best known around the world for its intense ocean blue color and has made a comeback in the gem world as I've seen it on some of the home shopping jewelry channels lately. This particular stone exhibits the classic birght blue color and is a good size stone for the material. It is only very very slightly included with a "Trillion Brilliant" cut.
