Item Description

Calcite is known from thousands of world localities, but faceted gems are not common due to the soft nature of the material along with perfect cleavages in a few directions. Calcite is not often seen in cabochons either, especially from bizarre localities like Burma. This stone is a white "Roval" cabochon of Calcite with a "misty" / "silky" interior. A gem that some collectors don't have in their collection, especially in cabochon form from Burma.
