Item Description

A sculptural, aesthetic, 3-dimensional, two-sided combination crust from the famous and extinct old Malad Quarry. Snow-white gyrolite balls are aesthetically scattered on the lustrous, translucent, light pastel mint-green, bladed prehnite botryoids and are dramatically highlighted on the skyline by the 1.8 cm parallel-growth pair of gem, colorless, tetragonal apophyllite crystals. There is a blocky 1.4 x 1.3 cm apophyllite crystal on the partially contacted back, as a bonus. The quarry closed 20-30 years ago due to population growth.
