Description:This specimen features a rare twinned calcite from Brazil, from this remarkable locality that has produced only a relatively few fine specimens. The "butterfly twins" from here are now highly regarded, and few are available. This is a large one, at 4 cm across at the top. It is complete all around, and very elegantly perched. It is translucent, and transparent in parts as well. A VERY fine Brazilian calcite, quite unlike most Irai area pieces. Valued $400-500
