Description:This is a large crystal of herderite, 6 cm in length. Itn fluorescent lights, it is a grayish-brown color. When backlit with halogen light or sunlight, it glows with a deeper hint of yellow-orange color (second photo). The crystal is perched on a shard of feldspar. It is not quite complete all aroun d- there is a small bit of edge wear on the lwoer peripherl edge, but it is in pretty good shape overall and displays very nicely. In fact, as shown in the first photo, you cna see the sharp twin plane, as it sits naturally on its feldspar pedestal. Valued $400
