Description:This is a highly unusual find of Lepidolite, with translucent yellow crystals in bundles, piled atop the matrix. This is one of the better large plates we have had and is uniformly of the top quality for the find, with large radiating aggregates to 1 inch of the best color and lustre; and with a good edge horizon and good overall display aesthetics.VERY UNUSUAL material, we had not seen anything like this for the species before this single remarkable find of 2008. I value these highly when this good, and similar have sold for $1000-1250
