Description:This large, castle-like quartz crystal is a really dramatic quartz in its own right. It is complete all around and well-terminated. It masses 1860 grams, and is the size of 2 Coke cans stacked atop one another. It is literally impaled by dark green tourmalines, dozens of them, that look as if they were shot out of a shotgun standing behind the quartz. Many are included in the back face, and many more are partially included to either side, showing their terminations even as the bodies ar eembedded within the edges of the large quartz. They are dark, but do have a green color when lit well. Most are not damaged, though a few tips are missing...not a big distraction, given the overall impact here. What is more remarkable to me is the oveall look, with the quartz being in remarkably good condition.
