Description:Gorgeous, golden amber, calcite crystals on silicified limestone matrix form a dramatic and beautiful specimen from the famous Joplin Field of the Tri-State District and the George Feist Collection # 2319. The calcite crystals have riveting color, lustre, gemminess and translucency. The centerpiece crystal is 5.6 cm and is complete all-around. Very modest edgewear, overall. Contacting on one side is noted and is a minimal detraction. Classic, old-time material from this historic locale.
