Description:A striking, diverging cluster of multi-colored and multi-layered, translucent, chalcedony stalactites from a NEW FIND in Java, Indonesia. The preferential coating on the large, 9.3 cm, stalactite is dramatic. The large stalactite and the one to the right are pristine. The broken tips reveal the hollow tubes in the centers, where the silica-rich solutions flowed to form the stalactites. Colorful and unusual material from an exotic locale for mineral specimens!
