Description:An aesthetic and excellent fluorite specimen from the recent, very highly touted finds at Riemvasmaak, South Africa. Gemmy and lustrous, unique grass-green fluorite octahedrons are the hallmark of this find. This cutie is strikingly dominated by a 3.7 cm complete all-around octahedron, accented with smaller octos and rests on a matrix of massive fluorite. One side of the octo has dramatic stepped-growth faces. Very nearly pristine, a trivial bit of termination wear is certainly not a detraction. These are contemporary classics. The color is INTENSE, deep green, very nice! For the quality, this one valued at $500-600.
