Description:Galenobismutite is an uncommon lead, bismuth sulfosalt found in hydrothermal veins. This is a rare and very rich fragment of a vein of silvery, metallic-bright, platy, galenobismutite attached to milky quartz from an uncommon Washington State locale - the Germania Mine in Stevens County. This tungsten mine operated intermittently from 1904-1955. Very seldom-seen, old-time material. Hefty for its size at 87 grams. Ex Wes Parker Collection. no clue as to value!
