Description:A very fine, sculptural plate covered with mirror-bright, brass-yellow, pyrite crystals to 2.0 cm from the famous mines at Leadville. The pyrite crystals have striking surface striations. This old-timer is in fabulous shape, being nearly pristine, with only modest periphery wear. Ex Don Boydston Collection and comes with 1950-60s era Burminco label. Leadville pyrite is very seldom available in this old-time size and quality. Valued at $500-750.
