Description:Glassy, water-clear, modified, calcite scalenohedrons, cover all sides of the curved gossan knob on this excellent old-timer from the historic iron mines of Frizington. This piece is in super condition, for such dense coverage. The calcites have a striking, cut-stone quality to them, they have so many faces! Classic, highly desirable material from the Jesse Fisher and Joan Kureczka Collection.
