Description:A classic and very rare, gemmy and lustrous, tabular, light pink, morganite crystal from Madagascar. Complete all-around, with sharp beveled edges and pristine. Ex Jean Behier Collection, a well-known French exploration geologist and collector of the mid-1900s, who did much work in Madagascar. The French colonists started working this mine in the 1940s. 6 grams.
