Description:A dramatic, 3-dimensional cluster of large, extremely lustrous, golden-orange, gemmy orpiment crystals with flashes of yellow fire and chisel terminations from the 2001 find at the famous Twin Creeks Gold Mine of Nevada. The crystals reach 2.7 cm on this specimen. This gorgeous piece is from Cut 62 of the mine, one of the major producing areas. This fine specimen is nearly pristine, with only trivial periphery wear. Twin Creeks orpiment of this quality is comparable to any worldwide locality. Valued at $1500-2000. Pieces of this quality and crystal size only come from recycled collections.
