Description:Starbursts of amazingly lustrous, golden rutile needles epitaxial on mirror-bright, black hematite crystals from a recent find at Novo Horizonte, Brazil make for a striking and aesthetic specimen. The tiered, 3-dimensional nature of the starbursts really adds character to this fine piece. This is a rare one, as the starbursts are attached to matrix. They are nearly always popped off of the matrix or are near floaters.
