Description:This locality in northern Romania actually dates back to the time of the Romans, and is one of the more significant European localities for Stibnite This piece is a very showy classic Romanian Stibnite specimen featuring beautiful metallic "sprays" of thin, black-grey color prismatic crystals which are bursting out of a slab of matrix While a few of the Stibnite crystals are broken, many of them are fully terminated, which is more than can be said of many of the matrix Stibnite specimens from this locality. A superb cabinet size matrix display specimen of this prized material. Valued at $800-$1000
