Description:Some of the most aesthetic and displayable specimens of Wavellite have come from the Siglo XX mine in Bolivia as described by Mark Bandy. This specimen is from a brand new find of this material, and literally came out of the ground a few months ago. This piece features several pale yellow color, sphere-shaped radiating aggregates measuring up to 11 mm across associated with prismatic gemmy Quartz crystals on matrix. The quality of the Wavellite spheres is good, especially when compared to finds from the last 15 years at Siglo XX. A nice display specimen of an uncommon mineral.
