Description:When we bought this collection, my partner, an Arizona and southwest specialist, valued this at $1600. It is, in fact, a SUPERB specimen of high quality. The color is perfect robins-egg blue, the lustre is satiny and bright, and the smithsonite is slightly translucent. This is carving grade! And, it is a beautiful specimen with 3-dimensional hillocks and 360-degree display. For the size, and f anybody can get it for under $1000 or so, it is a piece of high quality that will stand the test of time and is MUCH better than the average representative level from this classic locale (now closed to collecting).
