Description:A classic and superb quality display specimen of Azurite from the world famous locality of Touissit. One predominant crystal and a few secondary crystals with the finest royal blue color, razor sharp faces, and high luster make up this impressive miniature. There is some minor associated Dolomite on the back of the piece, but the most impressive aspect is the fact that the crystals have the most ELECTRIC internal blue color when backlit, and are virtually transparent in areas ! Few localities in the world produce Azurite of this quality and to find crystals like this is certainly uncommon. For the beautiful color along with the excellent overall quality of the piece, it stands out as one of the best I have offered from Touissit in years. The mirror bright faces of the Azurite are certainly as fine as Tsumeb in my opinion. Valued at $2000 in the inventory.
