Description:The Uchucchacua mine has produced some of the finest quality Rhodochrosite specimens around. Their attractive crystals combined with rich pink and red colors make for some beautiful display specimens. This toenail size specimen hosts a sharp, gemmy, red color scalenohedral crystal of Rhodochrosite measuring 8 mm long on matrix. A nice sample of this well known material from Peru.
