Description:This is a very attractive thumbnaial size specimen from this storied mine. This piece features a few superb, GEM quality, tabular, sharp, lustrous, deep red-orange color, "window pane" habit crystals of Wulfenite on very minor Limonite matrix. The piece shows the classic "GEM WINDOW PANE" habit that was rarely observed in specimens from this mine. It is a superb quality little piece. I will say that the piece is over 40 years old and is one of the most attractive smaller Red Cloud specimens I''ve had to offer in a while. A fine specimen from one of the single most important specimen producing localities in the Western United States. Considering that this locality has been completely buried over and never will be mined again, we may never see these specimens anymore.
