Description:Excellent, old-time Bisbee azurites are always highly desirable. This curved, bulbous, crust is solidly covered with highly lustrous, navy-blue to royal-blue, bladed, azurite rosettes. The concave backside has a very nice surprise with a scattering of highly chatoyant malachite blades. Ex Seaman Museum and Scott Turner Collections. Turner was the Director of the Bureau of Mines during the Hoover Administration (1929-1933). Classic Bisbee material valued at $750. Obviously old-time material. Comes with museum label
