Description:A rich mass of lightly iridescent, purple, bladed to massive covellite is jauntily perched atop granitic-looking matrix on this showy, old-timer from the famous Wheal Maudlin of Cornwall. Comes with an expertly handwritten, faded label from an older collection. The collection this came out of was a museum stash dating to prior to World War I. Specimens of any species are very rare from Wheal Maudlin. VERY RARE LOCALITY SPECIMEN
