Description:Pretty, translucent, pastel-green rosettes of prehnite blades cover the matrix on this showy and excellent specimen from an uncommon Spanish locale, which is an ophite quarry. Usually we see only small examples trickle to the market, at least in the USA, but this is a fullsized display specimen, worthy of comparison to prehnite from other locales. Ex Joan Massague Collection (he is a Barcelonan, and specializes in Spanish minerals of quality, so I take it from him this is a good piece - best we have sene, anyhow).
