Description:An impressive and aesthetic, LARGE CABINET, plate studded with glassy, water-clear, amethyst crystals from the famous deposits at Piedra Parada (formerly Las Vigas), Mexico. The highly lustrous crystals have very pleasing purple color and reach 3.0 cm. The amethyst crystals rest on a bed of small quartz crystals infused with tiny epidote blades. Nearly pristine, this striking, large plate has only a couple of barely noticeable and out of sight broken amethyst crystals.
