Description:Lustrous and translucent, pretty rose-red, bladed rosettes of inesite blades cover the thin crust on this very impressive CABINET specimen from the famous Wessels Mine. This piece is from the small, mid-1980s find and was very desirable, for the time. It was in fact in the Charlie Key collection as his example of a large plate from this find. Now , more recent material from Wessels has brighter red color, but is distinctly different, and these are rare older classics seldom seen. In fact, this material is rarer, than the mid-1990s, Wessels Mine material. So, this is a classic, rare and large NChwaning inesite. Valued at $1000-1200.
