Description:A seldom-seen, classic and very showy CABINET combination plate from the historic mines at Trepca. Snow-white balls of tiny, glassy, siderite crystals richly and aesthetically cover the sculptural specimen of brassy pyrite pyritohedrons, dark gray arsenopyrite crystals and a small forest of quartz crystals. Throw in a few, colorless, pokerchip calcite crystals and you have an outstanding combo piece from this famous locale. Very little damage, overall, with only a few broken quartz crystals, for such a rich piece. Ex Franz Saller Collection. Valued at $1000-1250.
