Description:Scintilliating, gemmy, electric-blue, azurite crystals to 5 mm line a dramatic elongated series of interconnected vugs in the CABINET matrix of rhyolite. The contrasting primary malachite is a super accent. This outstanding old-timer is from the Consie Prince Collection. These Concepcion del Oro, Zacatecas azurites are perhaps the gemmiest azurites in the world, rivaling the best from Tsumeb or Morocco. Specimens of this quality mostly came out the 1950s, so this is old-time, showy material. Valued at $1200-1500.
