Description:Lustrous rosettes of tan, saddle-shaped, dolomite crystals are beautifully scattered on the sparkling specular hematite matrix on this dramatic and very aesthetic CABINET combination specimen from the well-known Beckermet Mine of Cumbria. Reverse the very thin crust and you see scalloped, brick-red hematite. A very uncommon and classic combination specimen from this noted locale. The tiny bit of brusing on the left-most cluster is noted, but is a very modest detraction. We have seen specimens of this quality marked at 500-1000 Euros at the Munich Show.
