Description:Highly lustrous, sharp, jet-black ilvaite crystals to 1.6 cm are very aesthetically clustered on the undulating marix of glassy, light gray quartz crystals. The two major clusters are pristine and the modest periphywear is certainly not a detraction. Specimens of this classic combination quality came out in the early 1990s, with the first flood of fine Dalnegorsk material. Very few specimens of this quality have been found since. Ex Joan Massague Collection. Valued at $750 for richness and quality of crystals.
