Description:A very rich and fully covered specimen of Crocoite featuring dozens of rather lustrous, thin, prismatic crystals with the classic electric orange-red color. Many of the crystals (which measure up to 1.6 cm) are perfectly terminated, and I''ve tried to illustrate this with a few micro photos. The crystals sit on a layer of gossan matrix. Larger piece like this full-sized cabinet specimen are not common, and this is certainly one of the most distinctive mineral species in the world.
