Description:A classic and certainly RARE matrix WIRE GOLD specimen from one of the northern most mining districts of the Colorado Mineral Belt. How often does one encounter a Wire Gold specimen from Boulder County? This particular specimen was collected by Russ McClellen in 1961, and was part of Rich Kosnar''s Colorado Gold suite (specimen number G571B) for over 30 years.
