Description:Pyromorphite is very uncommon from the historic mines at Pribram, Czech Republic. Lustrous, translucent, olive-green prisms to 4 mm totally cover the vuggy matrix on this excellent, old-time, CABINET specimen. Amazingly, for such rich coverage, there is only trivial bruising and periphery wear. Pyromorphite of this richness and quality is probably around 100 years old or older. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection. Valued at $750-1000, for richness, quality, size, age and locality. Very seldom on the market in ANY quality, let alone a plate of this size and showiness.
