Description:An aesthetic, sharp, tabular, GEM/gemmy, rich red-orange crystal of Wulfenite on gossan matrix make this a very desirable thumbnail. The crystal has the attractive "window pane" habit, that is known from this mine. This specimen is in good shape and the color is superb, especially in a smaller crystal (7 mm). A fine specimen from one of the single most important localities in the Western United States. Considering that this locality has been completely buried and never will be mined again, these specimens are commanding a premium nowadays. There were only two significant finds in the history of this mine with regard to gem "window panes", and these pieces are rarely seen in any format.
