Description:Several superb quality, lovely deep red color, gemmy, highly lustrous and sharp trapezohedral Spessartine crystals up to 1.0 cm sit atop contrasting white blocky crystals of Albite. The piece is very attractive showing beautiful textbook form for the Spessartine crystals along with amazing luster for the specie. This piece is approximately 15 years old, and stands up very well against the majority of Spessartines from this locality that have come out in recent years. When backlit, the Spessartines have a fiery red hue. A VERY good quality Spessartine, not only from Pakistan, but any locality. Valued at $900-$1000 retail
