Description:Some of the most renown wire Silver specimens from Colorado were found in the various mines in Creede in southern Colorado. Rarely is wire Silver found in association with Amethyst from any locality, but this mine is a great exception. This specimen is a thin, classic, "curled" wire Silver specimen. Specimens of wire Silver from Creede are not often seen on the market today, and these are truly some of the most classic of all Silvers from Colorado.
