Description:A classic Pyrite specimen from Leadville showing the well known and distinctive "Cathedral Gothic" faces on nearly every side of the sharp, lustrous, metallic, golden pyritohedral crystals. The luster is so bright on the piece that it was rather difficult to photograph, but I did my best to show off these beautiful arch patterns (even under the microscope). The specimen is not perfect, as it does have some contacts on the corners, but it still a great example of this hard to find material from a classic Colorado locality. One of the very few pieces of this sought after material that I have offered.
