Description:A beautiful and aesthetic display specimen from the famous Tyrol region in the Austrian Alps. The piece is a striking, sharp, lustrous, very gemmy scepter crystal of Amethyst sitting atop a single Quartz prism with minor associated "Chlorite". The piece is virtually water-clear in areas, and is complete all the way around, save the very tip of the termination where it has a minor nick. The scepter portion of the specimen shows some slight skeletal/window faces, which are referred to as "Fenster" in German. This material is not often seen on the market, especially in such sharp, well-formed, lustrous, transparent crystals. A worthwhile and eye-catching specimen from the famous Alpine collection of RIchard Kosnar. Valued at $600-$700.
