Description:A fine, attractive and highly aesthetic Mn-Calcite from Naica, featuring beautiful, soft pink, sharp, somewhat isolated, free-standing rhombs up to 2.3 cm across which are partially coated by a thin layer of Quartz are are sitting upon a matrix of Quartz, Sphalerite, Galena and Pyrite. In great shape overall with excellent aesthetics. Well-formed crystals to be sure, and the piece displays beautifully without the aid of a base or clay. A great "hand size" specimen from this classic locality, and one of the best for aesthetics and quality that I have offered in the auctions.
