Description:These are some of the most distinctive and easily recognizable Prehnite specimens from the modern age of mineral collecting. A pair of radiating, spherical translucent green Prehnite "balls" are perched on top of a matrix comprising white/colorless Quartz and Calcite crystals. In my experience, it is difficult to obtain specimens with the Prehnite aggregates on matrix. A lovely and worthwhile small cabient sized specimen of this contemporary classic material. The color of the Prehnite is very rich and bright under fluorescent lighting.
