Description:A lovely small cabinet sized Quartz specimen from the lesser known Osceola mine in the San Juan Mountains. The "stubby", translucent, hexagonal crystals are rather lustrous, with sharp distinct faces, and a yellowish hue around the edges which is most likely due to some kind of iron oxide coating, and gives the specimen a great two-tone appearance. A cool specimen of the rarely seen material. Specimens from the Osceola mine are not common on the market.
