Description:These specimens came out about 8 years ago, and I have only seen two different finds of this material in that span of time. The piece features a pair of attractive, unusual modified honey-golden colored, gemmy crystals of Grossular up to 9 mm with prismatic rich green (possible Chromium-bearing), translucent prisms of Diopside up to 1.5 cm on limestone matrix. I really like the color combination and unique association here. I have never seen specimens like this from any other locality. A great display specimen from this very historic locality.
