Description:An aesthetic matrix specimen of Azurite on Malachite from the now famous discovery of 2007 at Milpillas. Although there were many of these specimens available a few years ago, fine quality, undamaged display specimens are few and far between. There are a few fine quality, sharp, rather lustrous, somewhat gemmy, deep blue, bladed crystals of Azurite up to 1.0 cm aesthetically sitting atop a mound of velvety, green botryoidal Malachite. A nice little display specimen from this well known find.
