Description:The best of these specimens are arguably the finest golden Barite crystals from Colorado which show a very rich golden color and excellent gem quality crystals. This piece hosts several WATER CLEAR to gemmy, sharp, lustrous, rich golden color Barites sitting on a mound of dark brown decomposing Siderite. The largest Barite crystal measures 9 mm long. This mine is long defunct and will never produce these specimens ever again. This piece came to Rich Kosnar from noted Colorado collector, George Robertson and was mined in 1959.
