Description:The Uchucchacua mine has produced some of the finest quality Rhodochrosite specimens around. Their attractive crystals combined with rich pink and red colors make for some beautiful display specimens. This specimen hosts several razor sharp, GLASSY, gemmy, reddish-pink color modified rhombohedral crystals of Rhodochrosite measuring up to 4 mm on edge associated with gemmy Quartz and nearly colorless Fluorite on on matrix. Many of the Rhodochrosite crystals are pristine and the piece displays well from a few angles. Enjoy.
