Description:A beautiful and certainly eye-catching display specimen of Barite from the famous Bulldog Mine in Creede. This piece features bright, sharp, highly lustrous, white to nearly colorless, tabular bladed Barite crystals forming a beautiful "rosette"-shapped aggregate aesthetically perched on matrix. The piece is in great shape overall, and displays wonderfully. The quality of the crystals is as fine as anything I have seen from Creede. A superb toenail display specimen from this important Silver mine in Colorado, and a worthwhile piece for any collector of Colorado minerals. From the Colorado collection of Brian Kosnar, originally from the Marilyn Dodge collection.
