Description:From the new find of 2009. On a worldwide scale, these are not the finest Pyromorphite specimens, but for Boilvia, they are wonderful unique and interesting specimens. For any of you Pyromorphite collectors out there, this is something that is very rarely offered on the open market. This specimen consists of decent quality, farily sharp, somewhat prismatic, yellow-green crystals of Pyromorphite on matrix. The biggest Pyromorphite crystal is about 2 mm, but the fact that these crystals are truly from Bolivia is what makes them so exciting. I have never seen anything quite like this from any mine in Bolivia. These are very well formed crystals and are not at all skeletal or hoppered. This particular piece is one of the bigger specimens of the material that I have seen. A good "locality" specimen for any Pyromorphite collector.
